Very comfortable, well appointed and all the kitchen appliances needed, a very useful gas braai, nice to have it serviced as well, quiet, lovely hosts. We were fortunate to get a last minute booking in the height of the season.

The apartment lacks for nothing. Clean comfy and the views is awesome.We loved everything… the host, accommodation as well as the nice surprised- bubbly and snacks in the room. The room is exactly what see on the pictures. We will surely return.

What a nice stay! We were greeted by our hostess and guided through all relevant info.
We have been pleasantly surprised with the eye for detail that IdylWilde has. The bedding was oh so comfortable and the whole experience speaks of people that went out of their way to guarantee an amazing stay. The suite was sparkling clean and decorated with love and care. The staff was friendly and helpful, the location excellent and the view incredible. Thank you for making us feel welcome. We will return!

We had a wonderful stay! Glenda was a fantastic host, close to everything, very well done! Finishes were modern and classy, comfortable bed, smart TV, lovely bathroom and kitchenette which had everything, Glenda explained everything to us and even showed us some of the many activities to do in the area. Would definitely recommend to everybody planning on visiting Wilderness and would definitely stay there again.

We had a superb time at Idylwilde/ Glenda & Mark. The suite is very clean , cleverly designed with light , view, space. An impression as in staying inside and outside at the same time. A captivating view, I couldn’t stop staring . Furthermore everything even the smallest detail is thought over. A pleasurable shower with enough pressure to enjoy the “rain”-shower head. We don’t like to watch t.v. so much but our suite, the Whale-suite had 2 screens , one in the kitchen and one in the living space which we end up to enjoy so much because we like to watch Wild life, walking back and forth between while preparing a meal I didn’t miss a thing. There is full DSTV. The location is on walking distance to the beach and the village and very close to the restaurants and the lagune. King size beds and comfortable. My boyfriend is tall so he appreciated the extra lengths. A keyless access which is very handy , no carrying keys around especially when going to the beach. Additional in beach visiting there was even a beach umbrella and a cooler box for us to use. Glenda and Mark are excellent hosts, they live right there and can assist and advise any time.

One of the most welcoming and accommodating hostesses we’ve dealt with. Helped with such short notice, and the place exceeded our expectations!! Would highly recommend. We will definitely be back soon.

Propably the best in Wilderness. First of all, Glenda is really a great host!! We felt very welcome all the time! She prepared us a very delicious welcome plate with some sweets cheese and crackers accombined by a wonderful sherry!! The Interior of the Room is furnished and decorated with so much love. All the small details, starting with an Insectspray, Candles and a sun protecting cream etc. are amazing (you would not find this in many Hotels) One of the best features was the bed – big and very very comfortabe!!! Thank you for the wonderful stay

We absolutely loved everything! From the host, the accomodation and little treats left behind by Glenda. The room is exactly what you see in the pictures. The host was very careful in terms of observing Covid protocols which really put us at ease as South Africa went through its second wave from December 2020. There was aircon, which was much needed in the January heat! We loved our stay at Idyl Wilde that we extended it by one more night. We wished we could of stayed longer. The sea views are amazing and the booklet complied by Glenda is so thoughtful and really helpful on what to do in the Wilderness and amenities you may need. Glenda is such an amazing and thoughtful host and this is representative in the accommodation, the details and little touches in the room. We will be returning again soon one day and will definitely recommend this place to family and friends.

From the moment we got there, Glenda and Mark were extremely helpful and friendly. The units are well laid out, contain everything you need, and are within walking distance of the centre of town. We were surprised with some bubbly and a few snacks on New Years eve, which was a fantastic gesture. We will most definetely be going back.

This place has got it all. Beautiful touches, eg, welcome wine and cake, heated towel rails, full set of all tv channels including sport and Netflix. Even a UK plug adapter. Such attention to detail is very rare. Probably the best of it’s type we have ever stayed in.

Tranquil Honeymoon Destination. Wow such a lovely place to stay when in Wilderness. My wife and I stayed there for our honeymoon and were really impressed by the warm hospitality of Glenda she was truly a wonderful host.Always checking if we needed anything. The place is stunning and has beautiful decor and is fully equipped with all you need. The ocean view you get from the balcony is truly amazing.Also the apartment Is close to all the restaurants and main attractions. We can’t wait to return.

We had a wonderful stay at IdylWilde! Glenda and Mark were warm and welcoming and very attentive to our needs. The space was spotless, tidy and modern with great attention to detail and finishing touches. Not to mention well equipped with everything you may need. The open plan unit feels spacious and airy with good views. The large bed was extremely comfortable, we slept so well! Location is excellent, walking distance to the shops and restaurants, as well as the lagoon boardwalk and the beach. You don’t even need to get into your car. We really enjoyed walking around and spending time in the quaint village! Thank you for a wonderful stay, we will most definitely be back.

Wow Wow Wow! Heaven on earth. Stunning and friendly owners. There are three units available – Shell, Whale and Seagull. We have stayed in Seagull previously and had the privilege to stay in Shell this time. This unit has its own private entrance. The views are exquisite and the location is very close to the beach and all the village restaurants and shops. We felt like royalty. My rating 10 stars plus!

The name sys it all! Three wonderful appartements – Perfectly equipped, tasteful, high quality and cosy – well thought out in every detail. Glenda and Mark have done everything to make us feel at home. The beach and restaurants are only a few minutes walk away – we also enjoyed our private braai (barbecue) on the weather-protected balcony!

Everything that you see in the pictures is exactly what you get. We absolutely loved out stay and every detail has been thought of and provided by Glenda.
